  • Each therapy session is 50 minutes and costs $185.

  • No, I don’t. You will receive a receipt once your session has been paid for, and you’ll submit a copy of that receipt to your insurance provider for coverage.

  • Each one of my clients receives three “free” cancellations per calendar year. That means you can contact me 30 seconds before your session is due to start and cancel for any reason (but okay, please give me more notice than 30 seconds). The fourth time you cancel a session in that calendar year and each cancellation that same year thereafter will incur the full charge of the session ($185). This is to ensure consistency and commitment to your therapy.

  • That depends. I generally ask new clients to see me weekly for the first three or four sessions. We then reevaluate around that time; if you want to continue weekly sessions, that’s cool. If you’d like to back off to every other week, that’s cool too. I don’t see clients on a monthly basis unless they’re in a maintenance phase of their therapy (aka, you’re feeling a lot better and coping well).

  • I don’t see anyone under the age of 17.

  • At this time, Rebel Psychotherapy is a 100% virtual practice.

  • If you live in a Canadian province or territory where psychotherapy is a regulated profession, I cannot take you on as a client. You would need to find a therapist who works within your province or territory. If you’re not sure whether psychotherapy is a regulated profession where you live, Google it!

I cannot see clients who live outside of Canada, even if you’re a Canadian citizen.

  • Why yes, it is! I’m a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) and am a member in good standing with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario.
